The definition of physiotherapy is “Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease.” (CSP)
Therefore, in a nutshell if you are suffering pain in any part of the body or have reduced movement or mobility, we can give advice and education to help, assist with pain relief through, manual therapy, electrotherapy, massage and exercises. We will set goals together which are tailor made to suit every individual with an individualised exercise programme.
There are several different pathologies we can help with which include musculoskeletal pain; back, knee, shoulder, ankle, foot and hand pain. Whether this is due to an injury, arthritis, accident or general aches and pains.
